The Y Bateman OSHC (YMCA WA) provide students at Bateman Primary with before-school, after-school and holiday-care for busy families.  They are open between 7.00am and 8.30 am and 3.00pm - 6.00pm on school days and 7.00am and 6.00pm on school holidays.  A range of activities is provided throughout the week and food is available before and after school.  Many families who use The Y Bateman OSHC are eligible for a government rebate.

New OSHC for 2026

Bateman Primary School has recently run an expression of interest to operate an Outside of School Hours Care (OSHC) service. The selection process has been completed, and we are pleased to announce that OSHClub has been selected as the recommended service provider.

 OSHClub will commence onsite on Monday 2 February 2026, the first day of school for students, and are committed to ensuring our students benefit from a safe, positive and caring out of school hours environment.

 There will be a transition period between The Y and OSHClub from Tuesday 27 January to Friday 30 January 2026 (Monday 26 January 2026 is a Public Holiday). During this four-day transition period, School Holiday Care bookings can be made at any of the local OSHClub service locations listed by clicking the booking link provided:
